Rules

The “Space Racing Federation” provides each registered country the same race pod that has a single pilot cockpit and is equipped with a main thruster and nine small secondaries.

Goal

Taking-off from the RedBull pad on Earth, go to Mars, then head back towards Jupiter’s orbit, Neptune’s surface, to then cross the finish line at the race landing pad on Earth.

Race Pod

Each pod is equipped with a main reactor, which combines hydrogen thrust technology for take-off and ION thrust propulsion once in space. It also has 9 secondaries for precise trajectory and is mounted with 3 super rig wings.

Similar to the RedBull Air Race, where competitors fly airplanes accross a timed obstacle course, the RedBull Space Race brings the challenge yet to another level where each country around the world competes in a space race across our solar system.Taking-off from the RedBull Space pad on Earth, they go to Mars, then head back towards Jupiter's orbit, Neptune's surface, then cross the finish line back at the race landing pad on Earth.
