Ultra Lightweight
The Angerlys roadster is a project I did in 2011 with Damien Rondeau, grand-son of the famous pilot Jean Rondeau. The car is a super lightweight, fully open and minimalist car. Built around a hybrid frame mixing tubular & carbon, the body panels seem to float on the surface. The car is powered by an Audi TT RS engine transversely mounted between the rear wheels. The interior is also very minimalist with only the necessary to be “ready-to-race”

Rear end
The engine being in the back, the rear end is the main core of the car. It has a large hatch, attached by quick-pins and the air-management is done through a large diffuser bringing high down force.

Interior design
Like in the KTM X-Bow, its direct competitor, the instrument panel has been reduced to the strict minimum and has been pushed as far forward as possible to avoid head impacts. The instrument panel and most of the interior is in carbon fiber for weight saving and improved performances. The whole thing is bolted onto a strong tubular frame.
