The time circuits of the DeLorean time machine were an integral part to its functionality.
They were coupled with an input device and a display. The display was divided into three sections: DESTINATION TIME, PRESENT TIME, and LAST TIME DEPARTED
The bulky design has been replaced by a thin, lightweight and integrated 3D shaped display unit that features intuitive UX thanks to its input plate as well as the ergonomic knob in the center. Connecting the Instrument Panel to the Center Console, the Time Circuits unit creates a visual harmony and ties the functional layers together in the cockpit.
A colorful tribute
The Time Circuits feature a complex curved housing where
iconic tricolor date inputs are set. These were kept as a tribute to the original circuits unit.
Date input
A stainless steel touch plate allowing for a
precise and intuitive input of the desired times.
